Paulina

Hi! I'm Paulina Ackerman. Also known as Blue or Sznurek dependant on whether I am behind the wheel of a dub or sailing! I’ve been into my cars since I passed my test (third time lucky!). Daihatsu, Renault and then I bought my first VW Golf. However the romance wasn't long lasting, as I have moved to UK. Couldn't live long without getting my hands dirty, so bought the first Vw Corrado. I’ve been a regular of the VW show scene for over a decade and used to take part in a drag racing, fun sprints or going arround the track (whatever's fun available during the event). Have drove many times across the Europe to see my friends in Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland. I am also a regular visitor on the Ring. Plus done thousands of miles on the roads of Alaska, East/West Coast of USA, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, Puerto Rico, Tunisia. I was a member of a local Automobil Club and used to compete in Hillclimbing and Sprinting events in a cult Fiat 126p! Currently I am helping VW enthusiasts to gain their knowledge how to maintain, restore or make their Vdubs faster. My main focus are VW Golf mk2 and Corrado, but there are many common resto/conversion issues across the whole Vag platform, so stick with me to make your beloved classic VWBetterThanFactoryFresh! I am also a happy wife of another vag maniac known as Monkey and a mum of very active toddler. Strong willed, demanding, intense, hyperactive, unpredictable - no, I'm not talking about the husband! but mini me. Grandparents call him Wiggler, books High Need Baby and we simply baptised him Little Tinker.
