Hi! I'm Paulina also known as Blue or Sznurek depending on whether I am behind the wheel of a dub or sailing. My main focus are on VW Golf mk2 and VW Corrado, but there's many common resto/conversion issues for the whole Vag platform, so stick with me to make your classic VWBetterThanFactoryFresh.
I’ve been into my cars since I passed the driving test (third time lucky!) Daihatsu, Renault, then bought my first VW Golf. However the romance wasn’t long lasting, as I have moved to the UK. Couldn’t live long without getting my hands dirty, so I picked up VW Corrado 2.0.
I’ve been regular of the Vag scene for over a decade and used to take part in drag racing, sprints or going around the track (whatever’s fun available during the event).
I was a member of a local Automobil Club and used to compete in Hillclimbing and Sprinting events in a cult Fiat 126p.
Have driven many times across Europe to see friends in Croatia, the Czech Republic and Poland. I am also a regular visitor to Nurburgring. Plus done thousands of miles on the roads of Alaska, East/West coast of USA, Italy, Montenegro, Puerto Rico, Tunisia.
Currently I am helping VW enthusiasts to gain knowledge how to maintain, restore or make their vdub faster.
I am also a happy wife of another vag maniac known as Monkey and a mum of a very active toddler. Strong-willed , demanding, intense, hyperactive, unpredictable – no, I’m not talking about the husband
